Basketball Recap: Serra Comes Up Short

Serra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 90-47 loss at the hands of the St. Anthony Saints. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-22.

Serra's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for St. Anthony, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Serra will head out to take on St. Bernard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in St. Bernard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matchups. As for St. Anthony, they will square off against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Anthony is on a three-game streak of home wins, St. Paul a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
