Lincoln East had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-1 victory back in April.

Greyson Bjorkman looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Joey Senstock was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Lincoln East pushed their record up to 27-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Lincoln Southwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln East nor Lincoln Southwest have any future games scheduled.
