Basketball Game Preview: King's Knights vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies

King is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Glacier Peak is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The two teams will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

King's is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 66-32 victory over Cascade Christian. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Glacier Peak and Cascade faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Glacier Peak blew past Cascade, posting a 56-10 victory. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Bruins are ranked 333rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glacier Peak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.9 points. As for King's, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

King's was able to grind out a solid victory over Glacier Peak in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 63-56. Will King's repeat their success, or does Glacier Peak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
