Volleyball Recap: Arcata Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Arcata can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pinole Valley Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Arcata sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-27, 26-24, 12-25, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Arcata still got an impressive performance from Aliyah Aaron, who had 15 digs.

Arcata's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11. As for Pinole Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.

Arcata does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pinole Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Convent of the Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
