Holyoke won the last time they faced Amherst-Pelham Regional, and Aiden Cabrera did his part to make sure it happened again. The Holyoke Purple Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes on Friday, sneaking past 56-54 thanks in part to Cabrera, who posted 19 points and four steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Holyoke's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Amherst-Pelham Regional, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holyoke will host Putnam Vo-Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Holyoke's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Amherst-Pelham Regional, they will be playing at home against Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Longmeadow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Amherst-Pelham Regional likes a good challenge.
