Baseball Recap: Trigg County Takes a Loss

Trigg County fell victim to Muhlenberg County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 8-0 to the Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Trigg County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Muhlenberg County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Trigg County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-4 win against Crittenden County on the 15th. As for Muhlenberg County, they have also already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Hancock County on the 14th.
