Wilbur Cross is a perfect 5-0 against Bassick since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Wilbur Cross fell victim to Amity Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bassick faced off against Wolcott RVT on Friday. The Lions lost 21-2 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Bassick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Wilbur Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything went Wilbur Cross' way against Bassick in their previous meeting back in April, as Wilbur Cross made off with a 24-16 victory. Will the Governors repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
