Softball Recap: North Thurston Wins Going Away Against Lincoln

North Thurston never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Lincoln Abes. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Syriahs Trolson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, earning one RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, North Thurston got a massive performance out of Saidee Trolson, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Trolson has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sara Halterman, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The victory got North Thurston back to even at 10-10. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

As of now, neither North Thurston nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
