Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Estero's Third in Last Four Outings

Cypress Lake came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Estero, but Cooper Lasalle wouldn't allow it. It was close, but the Estero Wildcats ultimately received the gift of a 71-69 victory from a begrudging Wildcats squad thanks in part to Lasalle, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 18 points. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Estero has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Cypress Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Estero and Aubrey Rogers will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Estero is facing Aubrey Rogers at the right time seeing as Aubrey Rogers is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Cypress Lake will take on Bonita Springs in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
