Basketball Recap: Brackett Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Brackett needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Jordan Balderas. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 73-51 margin over the La Pryor Bulldogs on Friday for which the team can thank Balderas, who shot 10-for-15 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 43 points and ten boards. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Brackett's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Sandoval, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 11 times he's played.

Brackett's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for La Pryor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
