Softball Game Preview: Midland Timberwolves vs. Henry-Senachwine Mallards

Midland is 0-10 against Henry-Senachwine since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will be playing at home against the Mallards at 4:30 p.m. Midland has given up an average of 14.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Midland is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Monday. They lost 16-1 to Princeville.

Midland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cheyenne Wildey, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Henry-Senachwine got themselves on the board against Galva on Monday, but Galva never followed suit. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Mallards in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Henry-Senachwine, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Midland might still be hurting after the 17-0 defeat they got from Henry-Senachwine in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Timberwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
