Soccer Recap: Sand Creek vs. Palmer
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Classical Academy, Sand Creek was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They beat the Palmer Terrors by a goal, winning 3-2. The Scorpions' winning goal came courtesy of Jonathan Urena.
Sand Creek pushed their record up to 4-8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Palmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sand Creek will square off against Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sand Creek is facing Elizabeth at the right time seeing as Elizabeth is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Palmer, they will challenge Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
