Basketball Game Preview: Bridger/Belfry vs. Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades

Bridger/Belfry are taking a road trip to face off against the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Back in December of 2024, Bridger/Belfry might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Broadview/Lavina an easy 63-38 victory. Bridger/Belfry has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Reed Point/Rapelje was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Broadview/Lavina and fell 56-23. While losing is never fun, the Renegades can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Pirates are ranked 32nd).

Bridger/Belfry will have to contain Rylie Tinsley as she made an impact in Reed Point/Rapelje's last game. She posted nine points.

Bridger/Belfry's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Bridger/Belfry strolled past Reed Point/Rapelje when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 48-30. Will Bridger/Belfry repeat their success, or does Reed Point/Rapelje have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
