Basketball Recap: Livingston Central Takes a Loss

Livingston Central lost against Ballard Memorial back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Livingston Central Cardinals fell 70-62 to the Ballard Memorial Bombers.

Livingston Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Ballard Memorial, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston Central will venture away from home to square off against Stewart County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Livingston Central is facing Stewart County at the right time seeing as Stewart County is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Ballard Memorial, they are taking a road trip to take on Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
