Basketball Recap: Moss Point Falls Despite Big Games from William Rogers and Jujuan Nettles

Moss Point lost against Pass Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Moss Point Tigers lost 59-34 to the Pass Christian Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moss Point's loss came despite strong showings from Jujuan Nettles and William Rogers. Nettles posted six points in addition to eight boards and three steals, while Rogers had nine points and six rebounds. That's the most steals Nettles has posted since back in November of 2024.

Moss Point's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Pass Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moss Point will challenge Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pass Christian, they will face off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greene County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.
