Concord and Wawasee are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Minutemen will head out to face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Concord is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

While Concord's win against Warsaw wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Minutemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Tigers on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Minutemen in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Allison Ralston spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

Wawasee's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Concord hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Wawasee struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Concord couldn't quite finish off Wawasee in their previous meeting on May 5th and fell 9-7. Can the Minutemen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
