Volleyball Recap: Nelson County Comes Up Short

Nelson County lost against Dan River back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Governors came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-19.

Nelson County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Dan River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Nelson County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Gretna on the 23rd. As for Dan River, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy on the 23rd.
