Basketball Recap: Valley Head Comes Up Short

Valley Head was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crossville Lions. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-44 last Friday.

Valley Head's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Crossville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crossville beat Valley Head by a score of 64-58 on Monday.
