After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maria Carrillo, Ukiah was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Casa Grande Gauchos 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Gauchos: they've now won three in a row.

Ukiah got a great performance from Brayden Beebe as he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Beebe has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kamble Koch was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Ukiah's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Casa Grande, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Ukiah Wildcats face off against Windsor Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ukiah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Casa Grande, they will challenge Napa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Casa Grande their first taste of in-conference action this season.
