Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Comes Up Short

Chartiers-Houston was the 4-1 winner over Frazier when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers came up short against the Commodores on Tuesday, falling 15-5.

Josiah Moushlian made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Paul Williamson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Chartiers-Houston's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Frazier, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chartiers-Houston will venture away from home to square off against Yough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frazier, they will head out to challenge Monessen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commodores are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
