South Lyon entered their tilt with Okemos on Saturday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2018.
Kate Sulkowski paced South Lyon's offense, picking up ten kills. Sulkowski got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 21 assists. Teagan Wesner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
South Lyon's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Okemos, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Coincidentally, South Lyon and Okemos will both be playing Churchill the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Chargers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
