Crete-Monee is a perfect 10-0 against Bloom since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will host the Blazing Trojan at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crete-Monee has five straight victories, Bloom has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Meanwhile, Bloom fell victim to Kankakee and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Kays. While losing is never fun, the Blazing Trojan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Kays are ranked 39th).

Crete-Monee's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bloom, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Crete-Monee against Bloom in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Blazing Trojan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
