Basketball Game Preview: Johnsburg Central Jaguars vs. Seton Catholic Central Knights

Johnsburg Central hasn't had much luck against Seton Catholic Central recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Johnsburg Central Jaguars will look to defend their home court against the Seton Catholic Central Knights at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Johnsburg Central didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Chazy, but they still walked away with a 52-47 win.

Johnsburg Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nick Sauer-Jones, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. Sauer-Jones is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam McKinney, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central didn't have too much trouble with Lake Placid on Saturday as they won 51-33.

Seton Catholic Central now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Johnsburg Central, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Johnsburg Central was taken down by Seton Catholic Central 61-32 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Thankfully for Johnsburg Central, Aiden Pearl (who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 19 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
