Softball Recap: Sanger West Takes a Loss

Sanger West fell victim to Bullard and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Sanger West is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-1. As for Bullard, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Sanger West will face off against Shafter at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Generals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bullard, they will challenge Mission College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
