Volleyball Recap: Silver Creek Comes Up Short

Silver Creek lost against Pioneer back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Creek started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 28-26, 25-9, 25-13.

Silver Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Pioneer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Silver Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pioneer, they will head out to square off against Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
