Football Recap: Marlette Starts Season with Victory Against Manchester

Marlette took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Manchester Flying Dutchmen by a score of 16-6. This was payback for the Red Raiders, who suffered a 24-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Marlette is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Manchester, they will welcome Vandercook Lake at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
