Baseball Recap: Neosho Takes a Loss

Neosho lost against Nixa back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell 7-2 to the Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Neosho saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanten Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Nixa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

While Neosho had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
