It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Amherst Broncos had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They snuck past the Warriors with a 59-54 win. The win was nothing new for Amherst as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Tayje Hadwiger was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Austin Adelung was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Amherst's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Lincoln Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.
Amherst does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lincoln Lutheran also has no future games currently scheduled.
