Shelton not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Hillhouse Academics 3-0. The Gaels haven't had any issues with the Academics recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shelton was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shelton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicole Zotova, who had nine digs and seven aces. Another player making a difference was Avery Wheeler, who had ten digs and seven aces.

They weren't the only good server: Shelton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 34 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

The win got Shelton back to even at 2-2. As for Hillhouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
