Football Recap: Beauregard Finds Home Field Redemption Against Sylacauga + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Beauregard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 34-30 W over the Sylacauga Aggies on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won four in a row.

Tae Foreman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 137 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Those 137 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Austin Jackson, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Beauregard was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was Beauregard's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Leading the way was Katravious Reese with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine. Kaleb Lowe was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles.

When it comes to explaining why Sylacauga lost, don't look at Cj Franklin. Despite the final result, he threw for 254 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 41 yards.

Beauregard's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sylacauga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
