Basketball Game Preview: Sanborn Regional Indians vs. Bishop Brady Giants

The Sanborn Regional Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Bishop Brady Giants at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sanborn Regional knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Bishop Brady likes a good challenge.

Sanborn Regional will bounce into Friday's game after beating Souhegan, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. In a tight match that could have gone either way, Sanborn Regional made off with a 56-55 win over Souhegan.

Meanwhile, after only 21 points in their last contest, Bishop Brady made sure to put some points up on the board against Plymouth on Tuesday. Bishop Brady came out on top in a nail-biter against Plymouth, sneaking past 55-53.

Sanborn Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. Bishop Brady's victory bumped their record up to 3-12.

Everything went Sanborn Regional's way against Bishop Brady in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Sanborn Regional made off with a 68-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sanborn Regional since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
