Jacksboro moved up to 506 from 588 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A-2 Region II District 5. The Tigers were able to move up by topping Nocona 60-26.

Jacksboro added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Indians, 60-26. The win marks seventh in a row for the Brian Hodnett's team.

Alvord's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cassidy Patterson has thrown for 1,257 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Lane Peace has 29 catches for 512 yards.

John Jennings of the Nocona is only 68 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 141 carries Jennings has put up 932 yards this year.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Brad Keck's team takes on the Bearcats. As it stands, the Indians are in second, while Henrietta is in third.

Nocona lost to the Tigers 60-26 last week, the largest margin of any game.
