Basketball Recap: Madison-Grant Takes a Loss

Madison-Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-39 bruising from the Mississinewa Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Argylls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-31 last Friday.

Mississinewa's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyvon Jacobs, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Grady Schnepp was another key player, going 6 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

Madison-Grant now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Mississinewa, their record is now an identical 3-4.

Madison-Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-46 defeat against Oak Hill on the 28th. As for Mississinewa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-37 victory against Eastbrook on the 28th.
