Boiling Springs took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Shippensburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bubblers had just enough and edged out the Greyhounds 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Bubblers: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in April, they had to take a 12-2 defeat.
Delaney Lawyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Lawyer was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
