Dawson Fields Dazzles in Hilldale Win

Starting off the list is Hilldale's Dawson Fields, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fields threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 38 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

The win got Hilldale back to even at 3-3. Fields and Hilldale will challenge Broken Bow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Rounding off our Top Five is Chief Selfridge of McLain Science & Tech. Selfridge rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 52 yards.

McLain Science & Tech's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3. Selfridge and McLain Science & Tech will head out on the road to face off against Poteau at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
