Basketball Game Preview: Waterloo Christian Regents vs. Tripoli Panthers

The Waterloo Christian Regents will venture away from home to square off against the Tripoli Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Waterloo Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Riceville 75-73. The Regents' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Tripoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 69-47 to Clarksville.

Tripoli's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Waterloo Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Waterloo Christian against Tripoli in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 84-38 win. Does Waterloo Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tripoli turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
