Soccer Recap: Storm Lake Takes a Loss

Storm Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs. If Storm Lake were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Denison-Schleswig when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Storm Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Denison-Schleswig, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.

Looking ahead, Storm Lake will head out on the road to take on Humboldt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denison-Schleswig, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Storm Lake St. Mary on the 2nd.
