Klein Oak had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Bridgeland Bears by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Riannah Boulanger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Morgan Sanchez was incredible, firing off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Klein Oak's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Bridgeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Klein Oak beat the Bears by a score of 5-2 later that day.
