Provine's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Holmes County Central Jaguars by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Provine's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Holmes County Central, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Provine is set to face off against their familiar foe Lanier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Holmes County Central will challenge rival Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
