Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln managed to slip by Notre Dame the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 6-1 to the Fighting Irish on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Lincoln were already down 3-0.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Notre Dame, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Lincoln will face off against Grafton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notre Dame, they will venture away from home to challenge Pocahontas County at 2:00 p.m. on September 6.
