Soccer Game Preview: Marcellus vs. Comstock

The Marcellus Wildcats will challenge the Comstock Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marcellus' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Marcellus took on Watervliet on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 7-0 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Comstock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past Bangor 2-1.

Comstock pushed their record up to 7-5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for Marcellus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1.
