Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost to Centerville back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets fell 8-3 to the Bulldogs. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Centerville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Franklin will challenge Highland Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Centerville, they will face off against V.B. Glencoe Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
