Soccer Game Preview: GVCS Broadfording vs. New Life Christian

GVCS Broadfording is 8-0-1 against New Life Christian since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will head out to square off against New Life Christian at 4:15 p.m. GVCS Broadfording's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, GVCS Broadfording sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Mountain Ridge.

Meanwhile, New Life Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Cumberland Valley Christian, falling 7-1.

New Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for GVCS Broadfording, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.

GVCS Broadfording took their victory against New Life Christian in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 5-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
