Shawnee came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 12th.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shawnee was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13.

Shawnee's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Joppa-Maple Grove, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Shawnee and Joppa-Maple Grove will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rangers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
