Soccer Game Preview: Berkmar vs. Buford

The Berkmar Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Buford Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

Berkmar is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Grayson 4-3. Berkmar had to overcome some adversity as three Berkmar players were handed red cards.

They hit Grayson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reyes Pacheco (2), Jorge Ferral Santiago, and Jonathan Lopez.

Meanwhile, Buford kept a clean sheet against Lowndes on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Buford's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Lowndes are ranked 196th).

Buford's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Berkmar, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
