After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain View, Skyline was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mesa Jackrabbits. The Coyotes were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Jackrabbits, so the Coyotes were just returning the favor.

Skyline's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12. As for Mesa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Skyline and Mesa will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Coyotes see the court they'll take on Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Mesa, their break will end when they face Red Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
