Softball Recap: Camden Bulldogs vs. Westside Rams
Camden won against Dreher on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Westside Rams by a score of 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.
Maddie Stokes made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Haydin Williams was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Rachel Martin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
Camden hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive games.
The win got Camden back to even at 11-11. As for Westside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
As of now, neither Camden nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
