Basketball Recap: Big Piney Comes Up Short

Big Piney and Wyoming Indian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Big Piney had to settle for second. They took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wyoming Indian. The Punchers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Wyoming Indian earlier this season, when they won 66-56.

Big Piney's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Wyoming Indian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Big Piney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-31 defeat against Tongue River on the 6th. As for Wyoming Indian, they have also already played their next contest, a 32-31 win against Pine Bluffs on the 6th.
