Volleyball Recap: Brandon Eagles vs. Strawberry Crest Chargers
After flying high against Blake last Tuesday, Brandon came back down to earth. The Brandon Eagles lost 3-0 to the Strawberry Crest Chargers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost six in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-8.
Brandon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Strawberry Crest, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandon will venture away from home to square off against Tampa Bay Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brandon is facing Tampa Bay Tech at the right time seeing as Tampa Bay Tech is stuck on a five-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Strawberry Crest and Hillsborough will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
