Volleyball Recap: Servite Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Servite, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the La Costa Canyon Mavericks on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Friars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

While Servite won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Servite's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for La Costa Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Servite wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bellarmine College Prep on the 7th. As for La Costa Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Beckman on the 7th.
